Local Artist Spotlight…
I came across this artist when I found Keystone Art Space, a wonderful space that houses both artists’ studios, a gallery, and an exhibition space, located in Lincoln Heights.
Sara Marlowe Hall (b. 1991) is a Los Angeles based multimedia artist. She has exhibited work in Abu Dhabi, Portugal, Leipzig, London and Los Angeles. Hall has been invited to multiple residencies around the world including Varda Artist Residency Sausalito, California, Pocoapoco Oaxaca, Mexico and PADA in Lisbon, Portugal.
I love seeing how she uses her current surroundings to create and inspire her art, it’s fascinating to see places like Morocco and Sausalito through her artistic lens - the textures, shapes, and colors that she sees and experiences.
